Regenerating Soil. Restoring our Climate. Rebuilding Farm Prosperity.

The mission of the Soil & Climate Alliance is to advance a resilient, equitable, and inclusive agriculture system that regenerates soil health, sequesters carbon, and revitalizes farm and rural economics, while improving water quality, biodiversity, food security, and nutrition.

Our goal: By 2030, 90% of all agricultural acreage in North America uses regenerative multi-practice management systems and meets robust soil-carbon outcomes, engaging all supply chain actors to ensure full support for farmers, with 30% beginning the transition, 30% progressing, and 30% leading.

The Soil & Climate Alliance is an innovation network.

Housed under the Center for Sustainability Solutions, the Network focuses on deepening learning across the regenerative agriculture supply chain to create individual and collective action to advance our goal.

We are a community of leaders looking out at the challenges facing our farms, our families, and our future, and we are responding with solutions.

We call forth hope and leadership on soil health to scale regenerative agriculture and reverse climate change.

“Regeneration starts with our own souls and spirits – our relationships with one another."

— Luis Marcos, Executive Director at Comunidad Maya Pixan Ixim

Members of the Soil & Climate Alliance co-create market initiatives and supply chain projects in order to transform the agriculture system at speed and scale. We leverage collaboration to achieve big results – for the Network, among members on their own projects and initiatives, and with others working toward the same goals.
