The Soil & Climate Alliance works to create connection between individuals, enhance collaboration across the supply chain, and catalyze systemic change in agriculture. 

The Center for Sustainability Solutions draws from a range of disciplines, methodologies, and advanced group facilitation approaches to help the leaders in our innovation networks design meaningful breakthroughs. Our goal is to shift the agriculture industry toward social, environmental and economic sustainability — “all in” regenerative agriculture.

 

The Soil & Climate Alliance approaches system change through Collective Impact.

All Network members have a shared vision and a joint approach to solving the problem. The Network agrees on the ways success will be measured and reported, and diverse stakeholders are engaged to reinforce activities. To build trust, inform learning, and adapt strategy, the Soil & Climate Alliance team regularly communicates with Network members and Friends of the Network.

Learning Agenda

Our learning agenda focuses on the flow of information — internally, externally, and through the network — to advance collective knowledge within the regenerative landscape.

Connecting Agenda

When Network members come together to share knowledge and learn from each other, we're able to adjust our global vision and progress forward to meet local and regional challenges. 

Action Agenda

Our action agenda leverages our learning and connecting agendas to create solutions to advance with speed and scale. This action allows the Network to support collaboration between members and bridge the gap between diverse organizations — all influencing positive outcomes towards a regenerative future. The Soil Carbon Initiative is a large part of our action agenda.

We are currently working to drive soil regeneration & climate solutions through shared goals and projects:

  • Soil Health to Scale through advanced soil health management systems

  • Policy Engagement at the state and federal level impacting the regenerative agriculture supply chain

  • Soil Carbon Initiative providing farmers and companies an outcomes-based commitment and verification program rewarding healthy soil

  • Resourcing Farmers with innovative financing solutions and scalable farmer training

  • Connecting Soil Health to Human Health through our Nutrient Density Alliance
